Ginger Blue is a high energy and fast paced Tribal Fusion bellydance troupe, always delighting crowds. Members include Megan Blackford, Sally Myrfield and troupe director Martina Crowe-Hewett. Each talented dancer bringing their own dance training, skill and style to the table to create a dance troupe that strives to keep pushing boundaries as Tribal Fusion dance artists.

All three artists are highly trained dancers and have committed their training with Suhaila Salimpour. Martina is level certified in level 2 and both Megan and Sally are certified in level 1 in Suhaila’s format.

Versatile performers, you can find that Ginger Blue always has something new up their sleeves. Whether its Polynesian, hip-hop, classic oriental belly dance, cabaret, or fast paced Balkan beats moves, these ladies will strive for an exciting performance every time!

Busting into the Vancouver and international scene, Ginger Blue has had the opportunity to perform at Tribal Fest 9 in California, Seattle’s Folklife 2010 and many local bellydance events in the Vancouver area. This year for 2012 Ginger Blue will be coming back to the Tribal Fest stage!

Ginger Blue is also proud to announce special guest performer Angelina McKellar-Thorne will be joining the group for special perfromances! Cannot wait to work with this lady again!
